Lower Back Pain!!

I have a Lump on my lower back and it hurts, I have a shooting pain up through my arms and down my legs, and my hands and feet go numb sometimes could that be a slipped disc? I was just wondering if there would be a lump for a slipped disc. It has been bothering me for about a month now. Someone help me!!
