The most I could help you with is to consider a blood transfusion if such is indicated. The indication though is a matter to consult with your doctor as well.
There is probably some miscommunication between you and your grandfather’s doctors. A discussion as to what measures would be helpful would be in order. If you feel that the relationship between patient and doctor is irreparable, it may be best to look for a new doctor, this internet site may not be the best place to search. The most use you can make of this resource is to discuss specific questions and issues.
