blood in vomit

by Meg1985, May 24, 2008 10:12PM
wow I cant believe I am writing this. I have never wanted to admit that I was bulimic but I guess I am. I perged tonite and I had a little blood in my vomit. I am very concerned. My nail did cut my mouth a little but I do not believe this is the source. Had this ever happened to anyone besides me? What does this mean? Im scared please respond. Thanks

You're right, the blood may not hve come from the cut in your mouth, but from your esophagus or your stomach. This is dangerous, as it might indicate a tear in the esophagus or ulcer. You HAVE to stop throwing up. If you can't do it by yourself, go see   a doctor. You need to understand that this thing can kill you, And to YOU, the danger is very real and very possible.
