fever with toe walking

by mommy168, May 26, 2008 12:12PM
My 7 yr. old daughter came down with a fever and a bad headache (no noise or lights allowed) on Thursday.  By Friday(through Sat) her headache was gone but she still had a low fever. (100 to 101.5).  Sunday she woke up with a fever and complaining of pain in her calfs and behind her knees.  When she got out of bed she said she couldn't walk.  By end of day on Sunday she started to walk on her toes only. She said it hurt to much to put her heal down to the ground so she simply crawls or walks on her toes. Today is Monday, symptoms are the same low fever and toe walking.  Any reason to be concerned or is this just a weird flu bug? THANKS!
