Doc. Appt.

So today i had my second doc. appt. I was expecting to go in there and have gained weight but to my surprise i have lost 3 pounds! I was shocked. He said it was ok, hes sure i would gain it back by the time i go see him in four weeks. He then wanted to hear the heart beat of the baby since he figured he would be able to. He tried and tried and tried for a little while then said he wanted the ultrasound to come in. So at this point im freaking out. The ultrasound comes in and hes looking and looking and looking and im not seeing anything. Until finally i see this little thing kicking and punching and doing flips and all sorts of things then i see this little flashing thing. Hes like "There it is, see him moving and thats his heart beat!" I was so relieved! Then since he knew where the baby was he got the doppler back and put it in the spot and we heard the heartbeat for the first time! I was so elated it was unreal! Thank god because i was about to have a heart attack!!!!! He thinks the reason why we couldn't find it at first is because my uterus is tilted back and is so low and he didn't realize that until today!
All in all i got to see my little baby move around and that was a really cool thing to see! I go back at the end of june and i should be around 15 weeks then!!!!!
And all my tests came back great, and i passed with flying colors!

Im plus sized and Ive lost 20lbs first trimester! And Doc says Im great. So no worries. And you being smaller will gain the 3lbs back! Congrats on the great u/s when I saw my baby flipping around and kicking I almost died. DH shed a tear....we were so amazed. And hearing the heartbeat is amazing....congrats to you and I hope you enjoy an uneventful pregnancy. :-)

Thanks ladies!!!! Yes my boyfriend was in shock seeing the baby moving all over the place, my mouth wouldnt close!!!! I absolutely loved it! Yeah im sure ive been gaining this weight back already.....i have a much bigger appetite!!!!
