Reaction to Synthroid

I get the feeling that my throat is closing and start panicking?  Could this be a reaction to the medication?  I have been taking it for almost 3 months now, and it continues to get worse daily.

I get that feeling when I yawn. It is like a muscle spasm in my throat. It is since surgery.I can't breath for a couple of seconds and need to stretch my neck to get rid of it.I'm not sure if that is what you are feeling.

I have had that happen but better ask your Doctor and/or phamacist.  Mine was anxiety.  You could also post over on Anxiety .. there are people there who may have an answer, too .. not that you are anxiety ridden or anything like that but it may be you are very sensitive about taking meds and sometimes stress can cause that sensation, too .. but I am not a doctor .. just happens to me sometimes, too.  I'll let the CL's know you may stop by.
