B12/MIC or HCG which is better?

OK, I have been looking at everyone's posts for a long time now and I am really confused. I really want to start a diet program and have about 100 pounds to lose. Hey, I know I can't do it overnight. I gained rapidly for unkown reasons though. I lose weight when I am pregnant though. But, that is no longer an option because I now have had to remove both ovaries.
So anyone used both programs or have a preference? I do have a sulfa allergy and so I am concerned about the lipotropics. Although, who knows if I will have a reaction. I have had to sulfa based medications cause some itching, no hives or swelling.
Please anyone with any info- help me. I am in the Phx area and would love to either do this online or a good clinic here. Thanks so much!!
