Oral HPV

by smnotes, May 28, 2008 06:50PM
I recently read a question where a man has a girlfriend who has HPV and she was concerned about giving it to him through oral sex.  I have the opposite question.  Recently, 3 days AFTER performing oral sex on a man, I developed this small white patch on my tongue.  I was due to have oral surgery a week later.  My periodontist removed this patch, and I was told later that it was most likely HPV.  It was biopsied, and completely benign.  I am assuming I got this from him, and that he must have it.  Is this likely correct?
