Fatty inflitrative liver changes

by HotLegs08, May 28, 2008 07:09PM
Recently had ultrasound which indicated mild increased amount of achogenicity about the liver suggest of fatty infiltrative changes.  My blood work was fine as far as liver enzymes.  Is this something to be concerned about or to be followed up on?

I have been told that fatty liver can lead to cirrhosis and liver failure. I am sure your doctor could make some recommendations. Mine suggested lowered fat in my diet.

   Hi
Are you a Genotype 3a ? I am and my fatty liver is caused by Gt 3a. I was told in most cases if you attain SVR the fatty liver usually goes away. Here's hoping.
Fatty liver can be caused by and reduced by watching what you eat. If you don't have Hep-c. I don't know if this is the case when you have Hep-c.
