Missed active pill

by Jenfer77, May 29, 2008 09:28AM
I started a new birth control pill pack a couple of weeks ago and I mistakenly forgot to take my first active pill. I then did not double up on pills the next day but just continued taking the rest of the pills on each consecutive day. I had unprotected sex with my husband after having 6 active pills in my system. Is there a possibility I could be pregnant? I am due to start my period any day now but just wanted some peace of mind.

theres alway a chance. i dont think your chances on getting pregnant increase with just one missed pill but i do think that might effect your period, cause you to spot, or go a few days without a sign of a  period. besides you start your first pill right after you get off your period and its not likly that you were ovulating that day
