Hard lumpish thing on penis

About a year ago i had this small lump on the top of my shaft, beneath the head.. Just as i wanted to see the doctor it dissapeared on it's own.

Recently i discovered that it's back, sometimes it feels like al small lump, about the size of a bb pellet, sometimes it's more like a vein/rope thing (about 1 cm) And sometimes i can't feel it at all.. It's especially noticiable when errect.... It doesn't hurt at all and I'm getting worried. I'm going to see the doctor next week, any suggestions on your part what it could be?

Cheers

Hi,
Do you remember if you had any rough sex prior to the appearance of this lump?

SOmetimes, rough sex can result in the appearance of a clot in the veins over the penis which usually resolve by itself over1-2 weeks.

If the trauma has occured again, the same area would be prone to further injury followed by scarring.
Have you noticed any other changes while erect, such as any deviation of the penile shaft?

This does not appear to be an emergency condition, but you need to rule out the possibility of a sexually transmitted infection
If you have had any pain or accompanying discharge, have yourself evaluated for STDs.

The best approach now would be to prevent any further injury to the area, since you have a doctor's appointment for next week.

Do keep us posted with your doubts and progress.
regards
