Hi there I have lived with OCD for ten years I am now 24, I used to have so many compulsions, 5 showers a day, washed hands non stop, symmetry... But I have had this one obsession for a long time and even though I have none of the symptoms and have been tested numerous times, and even my Pdoc says I am fine and not to worry... I am worried I have Schizophrenia, even though I have no symptoms, and trust me I have done tons of research Lol, I am such a hypo!!

Well you have less than a year for conclusive evidence, from my understanding you get it before you are 25. Usually much before. What are you doing for your OCD?

Schizophrenia usually appears in men between the ages of 18-21 but does not mean that it can not show up later, just not usual.

good thing is it seems like you have learned how to control your old impulses.  I run a group home for those with mental health diagnosis and as long as you are actively working on learning how to cope with these htings then you are doing well:)
