Can an IUD go UP a fallopian tube?

by crazymother7, May 29, 2008 02:53PM
Had an IUD, it got lost, when dr found it it was in stomach cavity, had laproscopic surgery to get it removed. Could it have gone UP the fallopian tube or was it the dr putting it through the uterus?
