Help my sister

by sisterofpain, May 30, 2008 09:47AM
My sister had the gallbladder surgery too.  She had complications, an obstruction with the intestines, it was pulled up while they were closing her, and a leak with the clip.  They tried the stint 2 times and could not stop the leakage.  They are wanting to send her home for 2 weeks and then try to place the stint again.  She has a soapy taste in her mouth that won't go away.  They had been pumping the stomach fluids then stopped.  What do you recommend we do next?  All these procedures....  have been done within a weeks times.  Is this normal?  Why didn't they place the stint or correct the leakage at the time when they removed the obstruction?
