Does Oral Leukoplakia Hurts at beginning

I haven't got tested for HIV in 2 years had a couple of unprotected sex.

Know have swollen tongue like for 3 weeks on the side of tongue. Been looking on the internet and it kinda looks like Oral Hairy Leukoplakia.

My question is does it hurts at the beginning. Because when it got swollen it hurt like hell my tongue and then it didn't. Now is still swollen on the sides but it doesn't hurt.

Is this Oral Hairy Leukoplakia. I am Hepatitis C positive.

OHL does not come on that early in HIV anyway.

Oral hairy leukoplakia is generally asymptomatic and not associated with tongue swelling. Seeing an oral pathologist is advised.
