tinitus

by Chez51, May 30, 2008 02:27PM
I have had a face lift 6 months ago and 2 months ago started to experience severe tinitus in my left ear. I have had an MRI scan which has identified an enlarged bloodvessel near the nerve in my inner ear. No one seems to believe the symptoms I am experiencing are related to my facelift, but I am sure they are. What is your opinion?

The facelift procedure does not involve dissection of any significant depth either in front of or behind the ear, and therefore has very limited proximity to your inner ear.  I agree that the enlarged vessel near the cochlear nerve is not related to your facelift.
