have you tried half a can of soda? I had a migrane yesterday, Made me cry it hurt so bad. I ate something, drank a little soda, and used a wet cold/cool cloth on my head and back of neck.

I also turned my floor fan on and allowed it to hit my face while I was laying down.
It helps me most times.

try taking a hot shower, or laying down with a cold wash cloth on your eyes/forehead. lay in a really dark, cool room with no noise. try eating a chocolate bar, or having a little bit of pop. more important of all drink lots of water... and try to relax.

I'm sorry you're having a migraine. :( I've suffered from migraines since I was 12 years old, and things have only gotten worse since I became pregnant. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot you can do for migraines while you're pregnant besides ride it out. Take Tylenol, it is safe. You can safely take 1,000mg at a time, just don't exceed the total amount written on the bottle for a 24 hour period. For me, hot compresses help a lot. I use an herbal "pillow" that I microwave until really hot, and press it on my head. If you don't have one of those, you could also try pouring boiling water into a mug and holding the mug against your forehead (wherever it hurts - for me sometimes it's the top of my head, or the side). For other people, cold compresses (like a water bottle from the fridge or even freezer) help. The number one thing for me is to close my eyes. Anything that involves a lot of eye strain, such as being on the computer, watching TV, or reading, is really painful. Also make sure you keep the lights around you dim, and noises to a minimum. Being dehyrated can cause bad headaches; that is always one of the first signs for me that I am not drinking enough water. I completely relate to your feeling nauseated when drinking water - I had that for many weeks during the first trimester ( I had hyperemesis gravidarum) and thought I was so weird for being nauseated by WATER! You're not alone. But do try to stay hydrated, it'll help the headaches.

It's probably not the best idea to see a movie tonight; the eye strain from watching it and noise level will likely make your head hurt even worse. But best wishes to you, I hope it gets better. I know how miserable migraines are and I feel for you. :(
