Feeling tired after exercise?

by Chloe2004, May 31, 2008 12:03PM
I have pernicious anemia and Hashimoto's. I exercise about three time a week but when I do a hard work out I'm exhausted for two days. Is this normal?

Is it also normal to get the sniffles after taking the B12 shot?

Please let me know

With the Hashimoto's the more you push your body, the more it retaliates. Believe me I know! When you feel good you will think you are ok, but that is a false sense of security. Best to avoid a hard work out and opt for 5 days gentle workout. You will get the benefits just the same, without the bone crunching tiredness.
I have had Hashimoto's for over 15 years and have learned the hard way of doing too much when I feel good, so really have to do only 1 hour of gardening instead of four like I used to. You will learn to do this type of thing or pay the price with an exhausted body!
It could be you are having a mild reaction to the B12 shot. Keep them up though as they are important!
