problem with right hand side of body after brain hamarage

by varunranafeb, Jun 01, 2008 12:39PM
sir,
my father is 58 yrs old , 2 yrs back he had major brain hamorage( due to high B.P ) , he was operated without operation, but  had a partial paralyses effect in right hand side of body, after 1 yr his body recovered successfully, but his rightside leg  lag the proper movement, but still he was able to walk properly  then we came to know that he had a breast cancer(second stage), after which he had gone through operation followed by chemotherapy (6 chemo 120 mg each) and radiation therapy 25 cycle. till this every thing was fine , but after this he was given tamoxifen (anti-cancer pill) after which his condition started  degrading , and with in one month he started facing the problems which he had faced after brain hamarage like , lack of proper speech, swelling in body specially right side, inability to walk, weakness , then we consulted the doctor and he told my father to go through ultrasound (whole abdomen), x-ray, and ct-scan of brain (with contrast), all these report were fine (their was just a little spot in brain in ct-scan that was due to the brain hamarage), then he told us that this may be due side effects of tamoxifen since it leads to formation of blood clots and then he replaced tamoxifen by altraz  after which this body recovered a bit and he started walking alone slowly slowly but suddenly just after some days he started having problem in walking , At the same time we stopped him giving Felicita OD, IS THIS PROBLEM SINCE WE STOPPED GIVING HIM FELICITA OD, what should i due. medicine he is taking are epsolin 300mg, amlopress AT , CONTIFLO (SINCE HE HAD PROSTATE PROBLEM ), ALTRAZ, felicita OD, NEUROBIN, SHELCAL,
