You posted a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to respond. My husband has identical twin sisters and his father is an identical twin. Identical is all on his side, my side has fraternal. I just recently gave birthBirth control and family planning to identical twin boys. From what I have learned from perinatlogists I have seen over the last year is that fraternal twin are from the woman's side only, due to you releasing two eggs. But they aren't positive to this day why that one egg splits and forms identical twins. They are getting closer to figuring it out, but it may have something to do with the mans sperm, that causes the egg to split.
however the man's history will come into effect for his children.
