knee pain

My husband had a very bad stroke three months ago.  He syas he is having so much pain in his knees that trying to move them is impossible.  Both knees have been x rayed and there is no problem.  Has anyone else an answer to this problem/

Hello Dear,
Weakness of extrimities is known to occue after a stroke.Defects in circulation after stroke seem to be the reason for the knee pain.You should consult a neurologist and medications which help in increasing the blood circulation could be helpful,if your physician suggests.
