I am 15 and i am sexualy active with only one girl... she has been tested for herpies, and knows she doesnt have it... but I have about 8-14 red marks, that have no texture, and arent painful. No irritation at all comes frome it. is it still possible that i have an STD?

Hi

You have mentioned that the girl you are with has herpes. Is this correct?
This would increase your chance of contacting herpetic infections as herpes is spread through direct skin to skin contact.

These red bumps need to be assessed. Although this does not sound like herpes, I would suggest an early assessment just to be sure. Herpetic infections are usually clustered vesicles on a reddish base. Is this similar to what you have?

Have you informed your guardian or parents about this just in case you need physician consult?

Hi

I have also responded to your other post in the other thread .

I have asked there if these red marks were noted immediately after sexual activity. If this is so, I do not think this is infectious in nature .At this point, we just have  to observe these red mark first. I have mentioned herpes as I thought your partner has been assessed with the condition. If there is no prior exposure to herpetic lesions, at this point this may not be the case. Just observe the skin condition and see if there are any changes in its character or appearance. However, as much as possible I would advise that you have this seen early on. A urinalysis as well as a complete examination may help allay your fears and concerns.
