Underwight

I am hopelessly underweight. I am  28, 5 feet 10 inches tall but weigh only 54 kgs or 120 pounds. I wish to be around 72 kgs or about 160 pounds. Can someone advise me on an exercise regimen and proper diet so that I may achieve my goal.

Hello,

I two am underweight. I'm 18 6ft4 and weigh around 10 stone. I think this is because of a resent growth spurt phase where I grow from 5ft11 to around 6ft4 very fast.

I've been looking around for things to help, I've tried excersize, regular fatty foods such as McDonalds etc.
The best solution I've got to, is protein shakes, aparently when large amount of protein is absorbed, and not much is burnt off, it's stored as fatt. I have noticed a steady increase in weight, so it's worth a try.

I get my shakes from the local Supermarket. It's sold in a powder that you mix with milk. I can only manage a one or two pints of it a day, because to be honest it's pretty sickly. It taste very simular to milk shakes so it's not the taste thats sickly it's just the large amount of it I guess.

A quick tip about this stuff, is that if you don't mix it up right, it ends out like hot chocolate, where you've got little bubbles of powder in it, if you know what I mean? So what i do is get a electric whisk and mix it in really hard.

For extra fatt on top, you can have whipped cream with it, and it's actually very nice then.

Thanks
