Ovulation after AF? Is this possible?

by kimbole2, Jun 05, 2008 01:35PM
Here is my post from Tues. May 3rd:
My last AF started May 28th and ended May 31st.  Well today (June 3rd) I have been experiencing some sharp pains on the right side of my pelvic area.  Could this be ovulation pains this soon?  I really need to know, because If it is, then me and DH need to get busy!

Today My question is: Okay, I thought that I may be ovulating so my dh and I decided to bd and use the Instead softcup to hold the sperm as close to my cervix as possible.  Well on Thursday (June 4) when I removed the Instead softcup (TMI) I noticed that there was a bid glob of mucous in it.  My question is, did that come from me or does sperm look mucousy too?  All my life I have never seen cervical mucous, I always thought that I was one that just didn't get it.  I hope it was from me, because doesn't that mean I really was/am ovulating?

I also miscarried April 1st, so this is why I don't know when I'm ovulating.

The pains you are feeling could be O pains...or maybe the eggs are gearing up before one shoots out. I experienced some light-mild cramping a few days before my O. Good thing you guys BD'd....we can never be certain so if there are little swimmer waiting that is always a good thing. :)

For the last couple of months, my method is BD every other day starting on CD 8 thru CD 20.

As for the visual difference between sperm and CM, I am not sure. I have never really compared the two. I have a feeling that may look pretty similar. If what you saw was from you it sounds like everything is working.

Good luck this month hopefully it turns into a BFP. I am half way thru my 2ww...only 8 more days till AF is scheduled to arrive. For my sake, I hope she takes the wrong train and never shows up. hahahah
