short cervix

I'm wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with a short cervix. I will be 20 weeks on Monday and saw the Dr. today b/c I've been having a lot of vaginal pressure by the end of my days. By the way, I'm pregnant with twins. She said my cervix was a bit soft and 3cm. She said that is a bit short for this point in my pregnancy. I had a LEEP procedure done in 1991, which I guess can cause some cervical problems. She wants me to lay low until Monday and then come in again to be checked again. From what I've read, 3cm falls into the low to normal category, but wanted to know if anyone else is in this boat, or knows anything about it. Thanks
