Aching Testicles

by damien90, Jun 06, 2008 01:26PM
hi there. got a football kicked at me yesterday evening and it ever so slightly caught the end of my ball. normal hurting pain from this at time. still can feel it slightly but have checked them like normal, so excessive pain, no swelling and no colour change.
i had exact same feeling about a month ago went straight to the emergency room and there was nothing wrong. i dont want to lok silly again and this sounds like a routine knock of the nuts? do u think it is just bruise under the skin and pain will go away. also i am one of those people who worry about everything too much - very much like last time.

Hi there. I think you should post this in the Urology Expert Forum. Doesn't sound like anything more than the usual pain you'd expect from such an accident, but it's good to be sure, right? And, no, I don't think you worry too much. It's your body, and the more in tune with it you are, the better your lifelong health. Dr. J

i do worry a lot, and do get nervous over the most stupid things.

im not sure how to move the topic as i am fairly new here.

thanks for advice janice, i didnt think it could be anything like torsion if i can touch/check the chords etc., but was just 'worried'.

what do you think would be the best way to ease the pain, as im sure overnight it should ease anyway. maybe ice? i did have one painkiller. think will be better tomorow as i am busy all day and it wont be on my mind right?

Hello again. Just copy your original comment, go to the Urology Expert Forum, post a new question and paste it in--or retype it. I'm not a pain expert, so can't recommend anything other than your usual painkillers. Ice is good for swelling. Good luck! Dr. J
