Pain in back and sternum

by imartin4, Jun 08, 2008 01:16AM
I'm a 19 year old college student who was diagnosed with Crohn's disease about five years ago. I have been on a regiment of 1000 mg of pentasa a day for about 9 months now. I had been feeling almost completely back to normal until recently. I've begun to develop dull aching pains in my hips, sternum and lower back and have constant problems with inflammation in the corners of my eyes. These are symptoms I have experienced with Crohn's before but usually develop after the onset of stomach pain, loss of appetite and mouth ulcers. Is this an indicator of remission and problems with my current prescription or might these symptoms be a mild flare up?
