My one twin survived!!!

by MrsLowry, Jun 09, 2008 12:15PM
Well I finally got to see my doctor on Friday and he checked my blood test that I had done on Tuesday. My numbers had dropped from 52,000 to 45,000! At that point he started discussing miscarriage options and what we could do. I thought for sure that the other twin was dieing too. The only thing left to do is take one last blood test and see if my numbers had started rising and that means we have a baby but the numbers have dropped then the pregnancy wasn't going to stay. I stayed strong trying not to get myself to upset and to prepare for the worst. I got the blood test results back that day and my numbers had risen to 71,0000! When your pregnant with twins you have a certain hormone count and if you miscarry one of them then your numbers drop a little bit then they should start dramatically rising if the other one is healthy. I was so releaved and thankful to the lord for watching after my unborn baby. Thanks to everyone that listened to my story and gave me great advice.
