Cat Throwing Up, Unable to Walk Straight

by redpenwriter, Jun 09, 2008 01:32PM
Hey everyone, my friend's cat threw up a little while ago and is now lethargic and unable to walk straight when he does walk. Any ideas as to what is happening? I don't know if they can get him to a vet soon... He's about eight or nine years old, black DSH, nothing special and no history of feline leukemia or anything. Please help.

Sounds like he may be poisoned. Please  Get him to a vet ASAP!

that, or if the puke was more watery it could be kidneys. the not walking straight could be a stroke or a seizure, either one could also lead to puking. it's important for that kitty to get to the vet. call your humane society as i found out that they have the bset resources if there is no 24 hour or after hour clinic in your area. they should have 24 hour emergency ambulatory services as well. another that was something i did not know before hand!!!
good luck and i will be hopeful for your friend's baby
