Numbness/Tingling Fingers and Toes

by anniepc123, Jun 10, 2008 03:42PM
I have been diagnosed for about 6 months. My sugars are pretty much ok, (118-130) except when I forget to take the Metformin, Then sometimes, if I don't eat enough protein I have the symptoms of hypoglycemia where I start to sweat, feel weak, and thirsty (my sugars run about 70-80 during these times). But for the last 2-3 weeks, my fingers and toes are numb and tingling most of the time. Its driving me crazy. I have a disc problem around L-1. Wonder how I can tell if its parathesia from the type 2, or a disc issue. Help.
