Nervous Twitch?

by jasonsgirl, Jun 11, 2008 04:57AM
My 7 year old son just recently started shaking his head very quickly from side to side.  It only lasts a couple of seconds and when I ask him if he knows when he does it he tells me know.  I noitced my son's father did the same thing.  Should I be concerned?

Hello Dear,
You should consult a neurologist and go in for EEG tests to know the electrical activity of the brain. Also a CT scan should be done to know any pathology.Unless all the neurological investigations are done, the diagnosis cannot be confirmed.
