Floaters all my life

by Jameskuk, Jun 11, 2008 05:14AM

Hi,

I've been reading on this forum about people with floaters and seeing responses that they can dissolve and disappear over time. My problem is that i've had floaters in my right eye as long as I can remember.. When I was at college 5 years ago I could focus on the floaters in my right eye, and they have the same pattern today.. all bunched together. Since then my eyes have picked up more floaters.. they look like small fibres and strands of hair. Is there any treatment to get rid of these? I'm hoping I can use some sort of eye drops.. Please help.

James

Dear Jameskuk,

I would recommend that you see an eyeMD immediately if there is any change to the floaters.  They will detail the treatments for floaters.  Drops will not usually help.
