Discomfort Relief

I suspect I may have colon cancer, but whatever it is, their is something far wrong. I often feel the urge to defecate, yet their is nothing to defecate, unlike the feeling of constipation. I am due to under go some further examinations, the Doctors have already looked in the near end of my colon with a small device, all I had to do was drop my trousers, they said their was nothing obvious.
* What I am wondering is, is their any kind of relief available that I can ask the Doctor for.
It's unpleasant having that 'feeling' and it's been ongoing for a long time, it's leaving me tense. I am very tired AND restless. Even when I sit, I was worried that I may have piles since I have that uncomfortable feeling that their is something there, but I stated, the Doctors found nothing in the initial tests, so they've ruled-out piles
Please bare-in-mind that their are some medications that I can not take due to possible kidney damage, I have already found-out that my creatinine levels are high, not that I fully 100% understand that.
