Size of tumor or aneurysm

by crwstar, Jun 12, 2008 01:20PM
Hello, I am really hoping I can get some feedback from a doctor and anyone with experience with this.

I am wondering if the size of a pituitary tumor or aneurysm matters with regard to headaches? I have been having headaches now for 7 months solid. The headaches are what led me to have an MRI/MRA that found them. I have a whole host of symptoms which can be episodic such as nausea, vomiting, blurry vision, fatigue, deja vu ( which can be incessant). I feel quite altered after having sharp shooting pains in my head that can at times bring me to my knees. I am feeling increased pressure in my right eye and the two sides of my head do not feel the same. I have both a pituitary tumor and an anuerysm but am told that neither can be the cause of my headaches. Question - if that's the case why then is headache one of the number one complaints of people with tumors or aneurysms. I'm really trying to educate myself as I walk this path.  Would this be an appropriate question for Dr. Michael Lim?
