Can you remain symptonless

what i mean is.. can you have HIV and not know it for many months and years as its laid doment or if you have slept with someone who has HIV will you get symptons soon after..

yes,in my case this is true.i had it for 5 years or thereabouts until i found out last year.i am still asymptomatic thank god!god bless!i wouldnt have known if not for a routine blood test.
