Anyone familiar with these symptoms? Doctor isn't helping at all.

by Melissa21, Jun 12, 2008 07:59PM
I've been having some weird symptoms that started a bit over a month ago. Some of these symptoms include muscle spasms all over my body, nausea, and dizziness. I've never had vertigo in my life and I can barely stand to be in a car. I thought that my blood tests would reveal something. My doctor said that my testosterone level was about 50. However, I've read that up to 70 is normal and he made it sound like I definitely have this condition and all my symptoms are because of this---I'm not convinced. Are these testosterone levels normal? Anyone else have any muscle spasms because of PCOS?

no muscle spasms but my doc said levels over 35 are to high for women. For the dizzy stuff ask him to do a 2 hour GTT test- its a fasting glucose test. they look at you insulin levels. If your insulin levels keep rising in the 2nd hour youve got it.

I wish you well

He said all my tests came back normal other than the high testosterone.
