my discoloration cream isn't working anymore

How can i change my hormone level back the way it used to be after using the depo pervera shot for birth controll? because my skin doesn't react to my discoloration cream anymore, it stopped working after i took the depo shot. I don't know what happened and I've been so depressed ever since it stopped working for me. can you help me out. thank you.
