How much milk should a 12 y/o drink daily?

My son recently had an accident and got a buckle fracture to his right arm.  It was not a bad fracture, but I am worried that he may not be getting enough calcium.  Milk is not his favorite drink, and we have always struggled to get him to drink it at all.  So, my question is, how much milk should he be drinking every day?  And what about a vitamin supplement? Sometimes he takes a mtv, as well as immune c plus zinc & echinacea.  I have not been good about giving it to him every day.  I will be more diligent if this will help prevent future fractures and help his overall health.

For his age he should be getting 1300 mg calcium a day. Calcium is in all dairy products: cheese, yogurt, pudding, and ice cream. Other sources are: Orange juice fortified with calcium, Tofu, Almonds, Kale, Beans, Broccoli, and Eggs. If you want to use supplements, recommend it is to be calcium carbonate (it absorbs the best). Calcium supplement has to be taken at a meal and not on an empty stomach. The action of food allows for increased calcium absorption into the body. Hope this helps you.
