i have recently been tested for hepes in which the test came back positive result of 2. something. I do not know what kind of test that was used. I have had that i can remember two cold sores in which one i had after giving birth. I have never had a break of any sort down below, however, i do tend to get these lump like bumps where my pubic hair is. They do not always come in the same spot, i did have my doctor look at it in which she said it just looks like an ingrown hair. Could the test that i had done be inaccurate even though according to my gyn testing kind of high. I will tell my partner but it seems according to what i have been reading that the tests can be inaccuarate. Is it possible for me to have genital herpes if i have never had an outbreak? Should i just tell my partner or get tested again first?

Why were you tested?

Do you have a regular partner and if so have they been tested yet?
