Frustrated

by JHANDOUGH, Jun 16, 2008 04:52PM
I believe I have genital warts (significant other has been diagnosed with HPV) as it seems there is something growing on the very tip of my penis at the opening and went to a urologist to have it diagnosed.  He was very cursory and looked briefly at it and said it looked fine, but it does not to me.  This is a relatively embarrassing and I want to get this taken care and wanted you thoughts on how to find a doctor. I live in Chicago.

I would call your insurance (if you have it) and have them recommend another physician if you want a second opinion.  There is always the option of Planned Parenthood, as well.  I believe there's even a physician finder now on Medhelp.  Was your partner diagnosed with high risk HPV or with low risk (genital warts)?
