TSH not matching T4

by katie711, Jun 16, 2008 08:08PM
I was diagnosed with graves disease three years ago. Since then I have been on a roller coaster of medication levels of methamazole. I have over medicated soaring me into hypothyroidism, to finding happy levels with 5 mgs a day. last october i underwent the radio active iodine treatment. the treatment didnt work as my results will show. Now almost a year after the treatment my blood levels dont match up. I have been unable to see an endo since my last move (my husband is in the airforce) because of my insurance approval pending (six months now)  here are my levels, if you have any insight please let me know
Feb 29 2008 (on 5 mg of methamazole) tsh- .015, t4 -2.9, free t3- 9.35
April 15 2008 (on 5 mg of methamazole) tsh- 0.015, t4- 1.4, free t3 5.62
June 6 2008 (on 10 mg of methamazole) tsh- 0.015, t4- 1.1 free t3 (not tested)

if you have any explanation for my illogical blood results I would really appreciate it.
katie
