is pronoun reversal always autism?

I have a son who just turned 4 and he is having trouble with complete reversal of pronouns, "you" for himself and "I" referring to me.  He has always been obsessed with ceiling fans.  Otherwise he is happy, very social, very empathetic and his language is developing well.  He tends to be a mimic and will copy people down to their very gestures.
Is this autism?

I have spent the last year combing through every facet of my son's behavior becasue he was displaying some signs of autism.....to make a long story short, it takes MORE than just a couple of symptoms for anyone to be diagnosed with autism.  Our son was displaying a few "red flag" symptoms that we were worried about throughout the past year, and virtually all of these symptoms have disappeared in time.  What we have learned is that ALL children will naturally express varying degrees of symptomatic behavior, but autism is diagnosed when MANY of these behaviors are present to such a degree that they interfere with the child functioning in his daily life.

I would reccomend that you go to your doctor asap and and learn all you can about ASD before you panic....I was in "panic mode" for much of last year for no reason...as my son has out grown so much of these behaviors.

Good luck!
