Inverted Nipple Surgery

by Rocko56, Jun 17, 2008 11:08PM
I'm 19 years old, female, and I have inverted nipples on both sides.  When I was 17-18 years old, I looked up my local cosmetic surgeon and decided to get the surgery for correction.  It failed the first time, so my doctor tried again using a different method.  That failed as well.  As did the third surgery.  The nipples just revert right back to the way they were before the bandages even come off.  It's frustrating, and very very damaging to my self esteem.  Doing the pinch test- seeing if the nipple can sometimes pop out- doesn't even work for me.  I guess I would be considered to have 'grade three' inverted nipples which is the worst case scenario.  My doctor even said that I was the only case he has ever had in his career that has failed.  Is there anything left for me to do? Should I see another surgeron or something and just keep trying?  Or should I try piercings or something like that?  I just need some advice on my next steps towards being corrected.  I hope there's something left out there for me.
