MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Is there any notable rash in the affected areas?

Itchiness may suggest an underlying dermatitis or a fungal infection. If there is any scaling, then a KOH examination will help determine if an underlying fungal infection is present.

I suggest that you ask your doctor to prescribe you with oral antihistamines for the itchiness. Also a possible dermatitis, probably irritant dermatitis may be considered. Do you use any soap or cream in the area? Do you have any known allergies?
