Trying to Concieve

by apple26, Jun 18, 2008 04:18PM
Hi,

My husband and I have been trying to concieve over the past few months. My periods have always been irregular and I am finding it difficult to track my cycle. For example In the month of Feb my cycle was 32 days, March Month my Cycle was 34 days, April month my cycle was 36 days and In May my cycle was 40 days. I started my period on May 30 and was finished on the 4th of June, We have had very regular sex and on the 17th of June I started my period again, therefore my cycle for june was 18 days, I understand it takes a while for some couples to concieve however we are both becoming flustrated..... any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Check out the site fertility friend...I had a mc in December and after my mc, my cycles were irregular compared to what they were before the mc...it has really helped me track my cycles...at first, it is a bit overwhelming with all the info they email you BUT it is extrememly helpful and once you get past that initial learning stage its a breeze!  Good luck!

I am sort of in the same situation.   I used to have cycles that were 28-30 days in length.  But, they have become longer... 31,32,42 & and now this month I didn't ovulate until cycle day (CD) 22.  So, AF(aunt flo-period) should show until around 6/23.  Have you tracked before????

When I decided to get pregnant with my second child (many years ago), I was excited to get going that I stopped taking by birth control pills before I finished the pack.  That resulted in the wackiest 6 months of periods to follow.  I finally went into the OB/GYN and he told me that I had stopped ovulating and gave me one shot of progesterone, right in my bum.  The next month, I conceived.

When the cycles are all over the place, the first thing I think of is someone not ovulating.  You might want to ask your doctor about that, because perhaps one little shot could get you back on track.
