Breathing causing me problems...

by kitzi, Jun 18, 2008 07:22PM
I have problems breathing, i need to take a deep breath every few minutes and its getting worse, its kind of like a 'sigh' or a little bit like a yawn, but feels like I can never get enough air. Most of the time I feel like I shudder' afterwards, almost like when a baby cries and is winding down afterwards and gives the little sobs.

I am feeling like I am suffering anxiety, i was on valium before and feel similar to the time before.... i also am tired, but insomniac, and then have burts of energy and then followed by very little motivation. I'm having relationship issues, money worries and have two small kids, but nothing has changed for the worse there. I also suffer badly from PMT/PMS and cannot seem to get it under control.....

Right now the breathing is worrying me, it may sound like i have a lot on my plate but thats just a part of it, and thats just normal for me - LOL! what do you think? could the breathing be part of the anxiety problem? Or maybe something else?? I will post in other areas to see if maybe the respiritory folk have any ideas??

thanks in advance.... Kitzi

Gosh, you really do have a lot of tough problems to cope with.  However, what you describe with your breathing/yawning/sighing does very much sound like what is most often seen with acute and chronic anxiety and seldom, if ever, a sign of any type of lung disease.  With better control of your anxiety, it should eventually pass.  Don't worry about it, and despite all your worries, do try to get more exercise.  That often helps.
