I have had back pain since I was ten years old(I am 20), constantly. It has never gone away. It is now an all over pain with some extremes.(mostly in my back(all), calves, and forearms) I have seen many doctors but no one has said what could be causing this. I have been diagnosed with ranges in rumitoid arthritis and several other diseases which eventuall have all been crossed out afterwards.

They last sent me to a physical therapist who worked with me for about 15 mins and made me cry. I was in so much pain. She informed me she felt it was fibromyalgia, but could not diagnose and sent me back to my doctor who did nothing and decided to give me mobic(a arthritic med- without any reason but to ease my "undifined pain")

My thyroid is perfect, I do exersize 3 days a week, have horrible sleep pattern(usually cant), Depression, used to be a bulimic, I have had mono on 3 seperate occasions(tonsils now removed) I have had heart palpitations( which a cardi said was random SVT and my heart is perfect condition). Thats pretty much it.

I guess my real question is... I want to know why I hurt all the time and what can be done. When PT said it could be FM I looked into it, My only issues is I only have like 6 points and I know its suppose to be 11-12. So I wonder if what I present is something else because I dont have enough points? I do not know where to go for help since my current GP will not continue helping me. I wonder what my next step should be?  Or what other condition this could be?

Wow, I cannot imagine hurting for 10 years with no diagnosis.  Have you seen/do you see a rheumatologist?  Have they run labs, xrays, mris, etc?  Do you have any of the results?  If not, I suggest you start over at square one and get a (new) rheummy.  There are many different types of arthritis and autoimmune diseases that could cause the problems you are having.  
Because you say it started when you were 10, I am curious, did they ever say anything about ankylosing spondylitis?  It is a form of arthritis that has an early onset and sometimes starts with back pain.  It can also affect other joints.
If you decide to see a rheummy, let us know and we will help you get prepared for the appointment and give you some pointers so you will be able to tell if the dr. is right for you.

Wow, I'm 17 and you sound exactly like me.
My doctor has said it could be fibromyalgia
but as of now, there is really nothing that can be done.
Someone suggested the aqai berry
It has seemed to have some "healing powers"
but once you stop, all the symptoms come back.

I am sorry you have had so much pain for so long.  My very first suggestion to you is to find a new GP, even if he can't "help"you he should at the very least have pointed you in a different direction, like TX said to a Rheumatologist .  TX and I both have AS and she gave you great advice, start over with a rheumy, try and get a recommendation from someone already going to one, I know you are young but it will be helpful if you can find someone with a good reputation.  I think this is your best course of action right now and you need to be pro active, do not let any Dr. ever dismiss you, your pain and symptoms are real.  Like TX said once you find a rheumy write back to us and we will help you get prepared for the appt.  We are all here to help and have been through it all!  Welcome to our forum and stay with us, we will see you through this.
