Using Zovirax cream on blisters

by Abigail121212, Jun 19, 2008 05:48AM
I have been using Zovirax cream on my little blisters and basically have kept the whole area smothered in the cream (hoping that it will stop the infection from spreading). But I have just been reading that it is much better to keep the area dry, so now I am wondering if I am slowing down the healing process by using all of this cream?

zovirax cream is pretty much useless for recurrences of genital herpes. It's a waste of time an dmoney.

Also smothering it doesn't make it work better. Just dab it on the lesion area if you feel the need to use it.
