I had a hystorectomy 5yrs ago and a rectocele repair. I have had 3 children and 1 abortion.I have suffered from severe constipation problems all my life . Does sex cause a cystocel?

No, sex does not cause a cystocele. But constipation, chronic cough, obesity, repeated heavy lifting, or anything that makes you strain down repeatedly can do this. THe abortion is definitely responsible, but vaginal childbirth is a risk factor for prolapse.
