does hpv eventually clear up in a person after awhile?

i have read that after a while hpv could go away.What do you think? also if you have a strong immune system it can go away also.Has anyone heard about this?

It goes away in the majority of healthy individuals.  Sometimes "goes away" can mean the dna persists at such low levels that it's impossible to transmit past a certain point, similar to chicken pox (as a vague comparison).  Dr. HHH and Dr. Hook have written a lot about this in the expert forums.
